Using a baby blanket that is still in good shape, fold it in half widthwise with wrong side out.
Sew a straight line up each end. Then sew a line where you want the pillows to divide. (I made three thin ones for car pillows.) Sew a second division line right next to the first, leave enough room to cut with scissors in between the two seams.
Cut between the two seams that you created in the center of the blanket. You now have two pillow cases. Turn inside out.
