• Brushes of various sizes

This is a great craft for all ages. Once your child is old enough (~18months) to swish a brush over the canvas, you should do this project. Thier minds will never be any freer than now. Squeeze the paints onto a paper plate and hand your child the brush. Allow your child to throw the paint wherever they like. Encourage them to move to the open spaces. Make sure to stop the painting when the picture looks perfect. Kids have a tendency to not know when to stop. It might be handy to have some paper ready for those who want to keep on painting. Frame and hang these paintings!
