Making Bubbles - Recipe 1

  • 7 cups distilled water (Grocery store)
  • 3 cups liquid dish soap
  • 1 cup glycerin (Drug Store)
  • wire coat hanger
  • container

Carefully stir ingredients together and allow to sit for 30 minutes. Make a bubble wand out of the coat hanger, twist the wire into a circle shape. The recipe can be divided.

 

Making Bubbles - Recipe 2

  • 11 cups water (distilled or purified is best)
  • 4 cups Ajax (use anti-bacterial), Joy or Dawn dishwashing liquid.
  • 1 cup Corn Syrup

Mix the contents together careful not to create foam. If foam is created, skim it off. Add 1/2 cup more corn syrup if you live in a dry area.

 

Bubble wands

  • You can make bubble wands out of many different things
  • Flexible twigs from your yard tied into a circle
  • drinking straws, strung onto a string and tied into a circle
  • metal coat hangers
  • fly swatters
  • margarine lids with a hole cut out
  • simply your hands if you carefully make a complete circle with your forefinger and thumbs (Practice)

Use your imagination and have fun finding things around the house to create fancy bubbles.
