  • Dried Beans of various colors and sizes
  • white glue
  • paper
  • Cookie tray, with sides, dedicated to crafting (optional)
  • toothpick for spreading the glue, (optional)

Place a piece of paper in the cookie tray, place little piles of the different types of beans around the inside of the tray for the child to use. Draw a design on the paper with the glue. Spread it out with the toothpick if necessary. Have the child sprinkle the beans on the glue and allow to dry. If you are really adventurous, let the draw with the glue and use the beans too! Try coloring with crayons before adding beans.
