Carefully remove the top of the Glass Christmas Bulbs. In a small cup squirt about 1 Tbsp of paint (no need to measure). Add just enough water to make it pourable, do not make it runny. Make a small funnel out of the wax paper. To do this simply cut a triangle and wrap two ends around each other until they create a funnel. You may tape the side to hold it shut and snip the bottom to create the hole. Place the bulbs upright in the holder from the box they came in. Put the funnel in the opening and pour a small amount of paint into the bulb. Swirl to coat and place upside down in the holder to dry. Repeat for the other bulbs.Replace the hanger once dried.
Variation: You may add pearl-ex metallic powder (found in the oil paint isle of your craft store) to the paint prior to pouring for a nice glimmering effect. Do not use glitter, it doesn't work well. You may glue glitter to the outside of the ball after the paint has dried on the inside. Tie ribbons onto them. Group in a basket or a glass bowl and use as a table decoration.
